How Do I Create My Account On BrettNation.com?

To create your account on our web site, click to the Signup page, and complete the signup form. Enter your current email address, and choose a password. Once you have finished registering, you will receive a verification email. Click the link in that email to complete the verification process.

Your account will give you access to all of the member features of BrettNation.com Web Site, including the ability to create/edit and delete your postings. When creating an account, please keep these guidelines in mind:

* Your username must be an email address from which you currently send and receive mail to

* Your password should be at least four characters long and should not be a commonly used word. Select a unique combination of letters and numbers.

Why Am I Not Able To Login or Create An Account?

We suggest that you attempt to the process again - and if you are still unable to create an account, please check these troubleshooting tips:

* Ensure that you have read our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and that the radio box is checked. If this does not solve the problem, try the next tip.

* Check if your browsers cookies are enabled. If, after entering your information and clicking Create My Account, the page simply refreshes and does not return a confirmation page, you may need to enable your browsers cookies.

Can I Verify That I Have An Account On BrettNation.com?

Yes! To determine if you indeed have an account on BrettNation.com, just enter your email address on the Forgot Your Password page and complete the form. If there is no registered account associated with your email address, you will get a message that prompts you to create a new account. To create a new account, visit the click to the Signup page.

How Can I Report A Site Issue or Bug?

As A BrettNation.com Artist, How Can I Upload Songs?

Tired of uploading music files one by one? Forget the old way. BrettNation.com has the capability to upload multiple music files on your system all at one go. Once logged into the web site, simply look for the "Upload Music" icons located throughout the graphical interface.

Once selected, you will be prompted to located the desired music file(s) from your hard drive, and upload them to your profile and for administrator approval.

Be sure to review our Submission Guidelines before submitting your music files for administrator approval.

Why Did My Song Not Get Approved For Sale?

To post any audio or image-based content on BrettNation.com your images must be prepare them according to our Submission Guidelines. We wish to maintain the highest of standards when it comes to our submitted material. So, while we welcome diversity and do not modify or revise submitted content, our webmasters check the technical quality of your content to ensure they meet our criteria.

Previously published work and simultaneous submissions are fine. However, please cite where possible the work was published, and contact us if your piece was accepted elsewhere during submission. This does not necessarily prevent your music from being listed on BrettNation.com, but might prevent other web sites, agencies and institutions dropping legal paperwork in our laps. Authors retain copyright of submitted material, but grant BrettNation digital publishing rights of all content.

BrettNation.com does not currently pay for submissions.

How Does Brett Nation Distribute Funds Generated From Sales?

BrettNation.com is the first online community of like minded artists who have the intention of helping others in need across the world. We offer a new type of social network for artists and listeners to Search, Listen Download c ompleted works as well converse regarding music and artistic ventures - under the pretense that art can provide fuel for change and create the impetus to channel much needed funds to established international charities and organizations.

Emphasis is placed on the revitalization of the Arts and Music communities and the ongoing development of a "philanthropic commitment" from these artists to such widely known international organizations. The immediate idea: to create a stream of charitable donations while offering artists a chance to become part of the movement starting here at Brett Nation.

In addition to the aggregate number of track, album and sales figures presented in real-time by BrettNation.com, monthly donation reports are made available for public review and download.

As BrettNation.com utilizes PayPal as our primary source of e-commerce and checkout, all detailed transaction and fiscal reports are made availale directly within your PayPal account interface, and can be setup in such a way to deliver these reports on a scheduled basis to authorized administrators.

As a BrettNation.com artist, and a business owner, we strongly reccommend that you familiarize yourself with the processes, capabilities and intracacies of the PayPal system. More information can be obtained at the PayPal web site.

When Are Funds Released To The Artists?

Funds are released to the Artist as per the agreed commissioned payout schema and terms of use at a $250.00 CDN sales threshold directly into their PayPal accounts.

How Can I Increase Traffic To My BrettNation.com Profile?

BrettNation.com is endowed with a complement of integrated social networking features. Utilizing the "Share This" module that is enabled on every Artist and Listener profile, users can invite friends in, they can listen to their playlists, post comments and share messages and profile settings on every known Social Networking platform. Users can in this way learn more about who visited their profile and share a lot of information amongst themselves.

How Do I Add The Artist Promo Photo On My Profile?

1 - Once logged in to BrettNation.com, click on the My Home link.
2 - Select "Music Settings"
3 - Select "Artist Promo Settings"
4 - Select an image from your hard drive, ideally 450x300 pixels and upload it to your Promo Area. 5 - Shamless Self Promotion Sells! Be sure to include a Promo Caption!

Can I Upload An Enitre Gallery Of Images?

Not at this time. We are currently working to enable Artists with the ability to have an entire gallery of images.

What Is Quick Mix?

Do you want to be able to listen to a list of songs one after the other without interruption? Quick MIX will help them you this. Just add selected songs to Quick MIX and listen to them without the bother of identifying and playing the tracks each time.

How Can I Advertise My Company On BrettNation.com?

In addition to a cost effective Pay-Per-Impression banner advertising program we?ve also put our heads together and have come up with an idea that operates in tandem with the spirit of our mandate.

As artists and musicians ourselves, our team?s secondary goal of supporting the launch of the web site (and our new paths in the music industry) through live performance on television, radio, the internet and live on stage...well...needs some support!

We have allocated a select number of premium advertising locations on BrettNation.com for those who can support us in our pursuits.
